Thimble and Turnbuckle

The thimble is used to tense cable and allow the retained cable to turn and be secured by a turnbuckle.

Turnbuckles are retaining brackets to sustain the fixed retained cable once installed the cable retainer. Different sizes do exist in iron, stainless steel and wrought iron (different hardness).
